What is a sleep-spectrum lamp?

It is a lamp designed around the spectrum inside its light, not only the color you see. Lume uses a specially tuned sleep spectrum for the hours after dark, producing a deep amber, saturated orange-red glow.

It is for moments when the room still needs a small amount of light: winding down before bed or moving around during a brief nighttime wake-up.

Not an ordinary night light. Not just warm-looking light.

Ordinary night lights

They are usually made for basic visibility or decoration. A warm appearance alone does not tell you what the light spectrum contains.

Owlnest Lume

Ordinary warm light only looks warm. Lume is designed from the spectrum up for sleep.

Warm is how light looks. Spectrum is what the light contains.

What Lume is—and what it is not

FormA small, egg-shaped soft-silicone lamp on a round wooden base, approximately 14–15 cm tall.
Light and controlsA deep amber, orange-red glow, USB-C charging, and one physical button on the bottom. No app or screen.
UseMade for after dark, the wind-down period before bed, and brief nighttime wake-ups when a small amount of light is still needed.
BoundaryA sleep-environment tool—not a medical device, insomnia treatment, bright task lamp, or color-changing RGB lamp.
General research informs Lume's design direction. A public Lume-specific SPD report and same-condition warm-lamp comparison are still pending; conceptual diagrams are not product measurements.
